My Background

I have always lived int he Fraser Valley with my family, one of the fartest memory is sitting on my dads lap watching the Dinosaur Show at Dino Town in Bridal Falls, British Columbia. The trips to Cultus and Harrison lake with my family are one of the best ways to spend your time. Something I can be proud of is how family orrientated i am. My mother is Danish and my father is from El Salavador, Central America. He would always tell stories about how he grew up during a civil war and now struggles with PTSD, yet he always gave those “dad letures” about everyday life, some like “No sleep overs, you got a perfect bed at home” and “Rule number one is respect”. The letures got old but I’m grateful. My mother is more of the calm and goofy side-the exact opposite from my father. When you search up “Opposites attract” in the dictionary you see a photo of them. I wouldn’t be who I am without them, they have molded how I am today.

The sterotypical Hispanic household is pretty much what you hear. We are loud, noisy people who love to spend their time making food and dancing with the family. I’ve always lived around my cousins, uncles, great aunts, you name it!
